# Free vs paid AI dancing dog videos

There are free ways to make a pet dance with AI. Most come with a catch. Here is what to check before you choose, including when free is good enough.

## The main options

| | Free apps and trials | General AI video tools | AIDancingDog.com |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Price | Free, paid to remove limits | Monthly subscription or credit packs | One-time, from $4.99 per video |
| Watermark | Usually yes | Depends on plan | No |
| Made for pets | Often generic templates | No, you write the prompt yourself | Yes, prompts tuned to keep your pet's look |
| Format | Varies | You set it | 9:16 MP4, 10 s, with music |
| Skill needed | Low | Medium to high | Upload a photo, tap a style |
| Subscription | Often pushed after the trial | Usually | Never |

Prices and limits of other tools change often, so check their pages for current terms.

## What "free" usually costs you

- **A watermark** across your video, which TikTok viewers notice.
- **Low resolution** that looks soft on a phone screen.
- **A queue** where free jobs wait behind paid ones.
- **A face that drifts**: generic templates may turn your dog into "a dog of the same colour".
- **A subscription** that starts after a trial if you forget to cancel.

## When free is fine

If you just want a quick laugh for a group chat and do not mind a watermark, a free app is fine. If you want to post on TikTok or Reels, want your dog to actually look like your dog, or want it as a gift, a paid one-off video is the better deal.

## Why we charge once, not monthly

Most people want one or two videos of their pet, not a monthly plan. Each video costs us real AI computing time, so we charge per video and nothing renews. If a video fails, you are refunded automatically.

## Questions and answers
### Is there a free AI dancing dog generator?
Some apps offer free tries, usually with a watermark, lower quality or a queue. Our videos are paid per video, with no watermark.

### Why is AIDancingDog.com not free?
Every video uses two AI models (an image model and a video model) that cost real money to run. We keep it to a single small payment with no subscription.

### Do you have a subscription?
No. You pay once per video. Nothing renews.
